I’m spending the next two hours in the orthodontist office waiting room. After four years, my youngest is having his braces finally removed. He’ll come home with a retainer, but there will be NO more monthly bills for braces! This isn’t really frugality….I’m just happy to have one less bill.
We’re traveling Tuesday and Wednesday and are driving our Civic. This is frugal because the fuel bill will be very cheap. We have to stop for a hotel, because our trip takes two days. I’ve saved by searching online for the best price and went through Swagbucks and got a lot of reward points. I’ll soon be getting another Amazon gift card from Swagbucks. We also pack our own snacks and coffee/drinks. The free breakfast at the hotel saves a few bucks, too.
We’re throwing a rather large engagement party for our daughter (out-of-state). We’re blessed that her mother-in-love is helping us save money. We’re all going to bake the goodies that will be served. I shopped around and used coupons to buy my dress at 50% off for the party.
My ebay sales this week totaled $265!!!
These are all small things, but they’re things I can do to help the family budget survive. I love to see the savings pile up. I’m very blessed!
