March is a beautiful month!  The variety of weather can be huge.  As our family traveled during Spring Break, we experienced an abundance of weather choices.  All the weather we enjoyed was beautiful, but the changes were drastic!

Beauty March

The beginning of our trip sent us on our way with mild weather.  A windy afternoon was also sunny and warm.  Temperatures in the upper 60’s is just about perfect!  As we drove and the day turned into night, the weather became more windy and colder.  We knew the snow was to fall after we were to arrive at our destination, so we didn’t worry.

We were amazed at the beauty of God’s creation with the sunset.  Dusk and sunsets are so peaceful, and are my favorite time of day.  We stopped for the night at a hotel and turned up the heat.  Brrrr…it was really getting cold.  We woke up to heavy snow falling, and realized that the weather report had been wrong.

We drove through periods of light and heavy snow.  As the day went on, we also drove through freezing rain and some sleet.  We were thrilled with the beauty of the falling snow.  The snow left many magical scenes as it clung to trees and rocks.

After we got closer to our destination, the snow and sleet were replaced with sunshine.  What a day!  Being many miles south, we saw flowers, trees blooming and the lovely southern azaleas.  There’s nothing that screams Spring like flowering azalea bushes!

After our week’s visit, we traveled back home and enjoyed more beautiful sunsets.  As the snow had now been long-gone, we were again blessed with the beauty of March.

Job 12: 7 “But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you;
8 or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you.
9Which of all these does not know that the hand of the LORD has done this?
10 In his hand is the life of every creature and the breath of all mankind.

      Thanks! I love them, too. I wish the blooms would last all summer 🙂
