We arrived back home late last night and we were absolutely exhausted. Poor hubby had to stop twice for naps and my son and I couldn’t eat anything but toast or potatoes, so it was hard to find any decent place to stop. We definitely found one exit that we’ll never stop at again!
It was very nice to be in our own cozy beds and just be home. As soon as I woke today, I was so thankful that my stomach was happy. I ate light and bland most of the day but ate a bowl of vegetable soup for dinner. It tasted great!
I did contact my doctor first thing this morning. He got back with me quick and wanted me to come in. After going through my symptoms and checking me over, he mentioned covid. He said it could also be bronchitis, but mentioned that I should try to get a covid test. He also prescribed antibiotics and steroids.
I do continue to cough like crazy and am very fatigued. My vision is almost as if I’m not wearing my glasses. I got an appointment for the test late Friday, so I should know if I have it by Friday night. I hope it’s not…..for my sake and also the rest of the family who will need to possibly be tested.
No matter what I’m dealing with, I just want to get better. This Christmas/New Years sickness has gone on long enough. I hope and pray that I’ll get better quickly.
I hope that all of you are staying away from this type of sickness. Being chronically ill is plenty bad enough!
