Covid, Covid, Covid

Of all the miserable things to happen….we have Covid. Hubby tested positive, our son tested positive, and I didn’t. But since then, my symptoms have gotten worse. I have a terrible cough, headache, severe fatigue, congestions, and runny nose. When we all went to the doctor, he said to assume that I have it.

He recommended many supplements (zinc, C, and D) He also is checking our lungs every few days and giving us nebulizer treatments as needed. None of us are short of breath and he thinks we probably have Omicron.

I don’t know how or why we caught Covid after staying safe for two years. I know there has been a huge spike in cases in our town lately and I know Omicron is terribly contagious. It’s such terrible timing because my grandbaby was due yesterday. His mom, her husband and other child still are fighting Covid. As a mom, I really want to be there to help. But, I can’t. Oh, there’s a lot of praying going on!

    1. Thank you! The guys continue to get better quicker than me, but I would expect that. They don’t have as many underlying conditions.

  1. I feel for you big time. We had the new Omi Covid one over the holidays. I have serious problem with my back to begin with. And I have been very very slowly getting over the WORST case of sciatica, from the coughing fits, that I have ever had in my life! I hope you all feel better soon!!!

    1. I’m sorry that you got sick. I got boosted, too. I hope that will keep me from getting severely ill. So far, it’s like having Bronchitis.

  2. Hope you are feeling better soon. My daughter has it too….and she has a five month old. So far the baby is fine. I almost feel like it’s not if we’ll get it but when.
