Surviving Thanksgiving

I survived Thanksgiving break!  Did you?  Surviving isn’t the correct word, because I really loved seeing my beloved family.  I cherish each and every minute hearing about their lives and hugging them too tight.

Surviving Thanksgiving

But, surviving is a good word when you consider the long hours riding in a compact car.  The flare of pain is severe and the fatigue is intense.  Every finger throbs, as well as all my other joints and muscles.

But, it was worth it!  I know I’ll do it again.  I’m thankful that I have loving family to visit.  What a blessing!

As I have my long-awaited appointment tomorrow, my anticipation is great.  I’m nervous and excited.  I’m scared and happy.  But, mostly, I hope that something new can be discovered or suggested to help with my fatigue and pain.

I hope you all have a lovely day, one that is not filled with pain.
